What is Turmeric+?
Turmeric is cultivated across India and has been used in the traditional practice of Ayurveda for thousands of years.
It has 53 different names in Sanskrit, each describing a special quality that ancient Indians attributed to their beloved spice, from survana (golden colour), to bhadra (auspicious or lucky).
Modern scientific and medical research into turmeric’s special qualities focuses on its key active ingredient: curcumin.
Each Turmeric+ tablet contains 500mg of Curcuma Phospholipid Complex, a unique combination of curcumin with soy lecithin that is 30 times more absorbable than ordinary turmeric powder, in an effective and natural alternative to black pepper.
This increases the body’s absorption of curcumin by mimicking the natural action of eating turmeric with food. Each tablet delivers the amount of curcumin you’d absorb naturally from eating 150g of raw turmeric. It delivers the full bouquet of curcuminoids, including high levels of demethoxycurcumin (DMC), the most powerful of all.
Each tablet also contains vitamin C and vitamin D. Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of cartilage, and the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
Vitamin D – the ‘sunshine vitamin’ – contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and the maintenance of normal muscle function.
Turmeric+ has been officially recognised and certified by Informed-Sport, an international body that ensures supplements are produced to a high standard and can be used in professional sport.
Every batch of Turmeric+ is rigorously tested for quality and for banned substances at the organisation's world-class laboratory, ensuring it can be used safely by elite athletes.
Turmeric+ contains natural ingredients so variation in the colour of the tablet is normal. The colour comes from the ingredient curcumin and will vary across different shades of yellow and orange, depending on the growing conditions of the turmeric root it was extracted from and the time of year it was harvested. This has no impact on the quality of the curcumin formulation.
Directions
